Eat to Support Pickaway County Farm Bureau
On Saturday, March 25 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., City Barbeque at 1631 South Court Street is donating a percentage of sales from Dine-In, Takeout, Delivery, Drive thru and Pick up orders to Pickaway County Farm Bureau! Make sure to mention you are supporting Pickaway County Farm Bureau before ordering.
Why we’re raising: Pickaway County Farm Bureau is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to community outreach and youth development. A few years ago, Pickaway County Farm Bureau members created the Buyer’s Club. The Buyer’s Club uses all donations to purchase as many junior fair projects as possible, while giving each individual a fair price for their market animal. The Buyer’s Club relies on donations, and all the money raised is used to support the youth of our county.
This is a great way to participate in the livestock sale at the fair without being present and rewards the youth for spending countless hours working hard on their livestock projects. The community’s continued contribution will encourage youth to expand their hard work into bigger and better projects in their future endeavors.
We hope you can join us in eating out for a good cause!
P.S. Please feel free to invite — and share this event with — your friends and family.
