Geauga County Fair Tent

Geauga County FairIt’s that time of the year again. The Geauga County Fair is quickly approaching, and that means we are busy planning our fair tent. We love sharing the story of agriculture with our community and we couldn’t do that without all of you. We are once again looking for volunteers to help make our tent memorable for all who visit. Agriculture is vital to all our lives, and it’s so important that we share that with others. Did you know that the majority of Americans are at least 3 generations removed from the farm?  It’s so sad that so many people won’t ever experience the life that we all love.

Anyone who volunteers in the tent will receive a T-shirt and a ticket for entry into the fair. Tickets and T-shirts are only guaranteed for volunteers who sign up by Thursday, Aug. 24 due to getting tickets and shirts distributed.

We’re using SignUp (the leading online signup and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming activity.

We would love your help again this year in the Farm Bureau Tent at Geauga County Fair!

Here’s how it works in 3 easy steps:

1) View our signup

2) Review the options listed and choose the spot(s) you like.

3) Sign up! It’s easy – you will NOT need to register an account or keep a password on SignUp.

Note: SignUp does not share your email address with anyone. If you prefer not to use your email address, please contact [email protected] and staff can sign you up manually.

The plan we are on is great. It’s comparable to my previous job's plan, and we are a sole proprietor.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Bringing the farm back to life
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

Select Partner Program
So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
