Hamilton named Ohio Farm Bureau organization director
Arica Hamilton of Eaton has been named organization director for Ohio Farm Bureau and will serve members in Delaware, Franklin, Madison and Union counties.

The Franklin County Farm Bureau shows their support to the Franklin County Fair in a multitude of ways. From passing out T-shirts, to supporting the youth in the Creative Baking Auction, to Farm Bureau Ag Day at the Fair, our board members and volunteers stayed busy.
We presented T-shirts to those who participated in the livestock promotion contest which ended up being a big success with over 100 posters! Farm Bureau showed its support in the Creative Baking Auction by bidding on baked goods made by the youth!
Franklin County Farm Bureau participated in the round bale decorating contest and won 1st place, decorated by Organization Director Melinda Lee, with our bale decorated as a combine harvesting corn.
During Farm Bureau Ag Day at the Fair, there were lots of activities for the youth to participate in. Some of these events included County Olympics, an ice cream social, butter making, beekeeping demonstrations, antique tractor display, and much more!
Farm Bureau also sponsored the hog jackpot show and passed out fans to keep the fair goers cool on the hot day.
The Franklin County Fair was a success and the Franklin County Farm Bureau is proud to give back to the youth in our community.

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.
Farm Bureau is what really got the word out. It’s been one of their goals to get this done.
I could not have done it without the resources I have found through Farm Bureau.
Because we are younger farmers just starting out, Farm Bureau has a lot of good opportunities and resources to help us grow in the future.
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.
