Join us for the 2026 Crawford County Fair

Crawford County Farm Bureau encourages everyone to visit the Crawford County Fair July 20 – 25. Crawford County Farm Bureau is a proud supporter of the Junior Fair and wishes good luck to all of the participants showing their livestock and home projects at the fair.

Crawford County Farm Bureau is sponsoring stall signs for exhibitors to display during fair week. This sign gives exhibitors access to exclusive add-on money for their project. Signs can be reserved until July 8. Click here or call the office at 419-747-7488.

On July 22 at 1 p.m. in the show arena, cheer on your home school district at the inaugural Celebrity Show where local schools will compete to see who is the best showman in the county.

In addition, Crawford County Farm Bureau provides the Reserve Champion Livestock award chairs for beef and dairy cattle and feeder calves, goats, hogs, lambs, broilers, roasters, turkeys, rabbits and alpacas.

My first recommendation in your journey is to start out with a local farming friend or mentor along with joining an organization like Ohio Farm Bureau.

New and beginning farmers
We’re just so thankful for the Farm Bureau and the foundation for helping put this together. And of course, the Boyert family for the vision they had with this grant. It’s jumping us forward 10 years. It’s unbelievable.

Youth pathways in Farm Bureau
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Giving farmers a voice
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
