Al Miller of Marietta was re-elected District 17 trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, his fourth term. His re-election took place Dec. 8 during Ohio Farm Bureau’s 99th annual meeting. Over the next three years, Miller will help govern Ohio’s largest general farm organization and represent Farm Bureau members in Belmont, Monroe, Noble and Washington counties.
Miller is a 34-year member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and has served as president and board member. He has chaired the membership, policy and safety committees and has been involved with county farmland preservation efforts.
He and his wife, Jean, own a commercial cow-calf farm where they also produce hay.
Ohio Farm Bureau’s mission is working together for Ohio farmers to advance agriculture and strengthen the state’s communities.
