The bill failed by a vote of 198 to 213 in May. The U.S. House has until June 22 to reconsider its vote and Farm Bureau is pushing for that to occur.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture passed its version of the farm bill, known as the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018, out of committee on June 13.
