Read MoreI hope everyone is having a fun and safe summer! I have been very busy this summer working for Shelby County Farm Bureau. I have had the privilege to attend board meetings as well as meet many people that make this organization run smoothly and efficiently. On top of attending meetings and meeting new people, I have also been busy planning numerous events for members as well nonmembers.
Currently, I am working on planning an event with Crossway Farms, located near Sidney. The details are still being worked out, however, this event will be geared toward preparing your own salsa from produce grown right at Crossway Farms! There will be a chef on-site to answer any questions you may have. Make sure to check back to see more details about this event.
I am honored to be a part of all of the summer planning during my internship and hope to see you all at the fair!
