Say hello to Trumbull County Trustee, Jade Lichty. Jade grew up in Southington, Ohio and attended Chalker High School and the Trumbull Career & Technical Center for Power Equipment. She currently lives in Cortland, Ohio and will be marrying Chris Shafer Sept. 22, 2018.
Jade has been a member of Farm Bureau for two years, being actively involved on the board and committees for a year and a half, working on several committees along with trying to get a county YAP group started. “I love getting out and talking to the local farmers and making sure their voices are heard when and where it matters,” she said.
Jade grew up at her family’s local equipment auction in Southington and now works full-time at a beef farm in Portage County and the local livestock auction.
