Ohio Representative candidate Rick Walker was recently honored at the Lake County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting with the “Friend of Agriculture” award from Ohio Farm Bureau’s Agriculture for Good Government Political Action Committee.
For open seat races, County Farm Bureaus have held local screenings for Statehouse candidates to determine “Friends.” After meeting with both candidates and discussing priority issues, screening committees can designate one candidate, both candidates, or neither candidates as the Friend of Agriculture.
