Ohio Farm Bureau introduces Energy and Utility Issues Resource Guide

Read MoreMatt Bell of Zanesville has been elected to his second term on the board of trustees for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. His re-election took place Dec. 7 during the 100th annual meeting of the state’s largest general farm organization.
As a state trustee, Bell represents the members of District 16, which includes Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum and Perry counties. He farms with his father, Irv, raising row crops, hogs and cattle and is the sixth generation on the farm.
Bell is a 23-year member of Muskingum County Farm Bureau, having served as its president, vice president, secretary and member of the public policy action team and the membership campaign committee. He is a member of the Ohio Pork Council board and Farm Credit Mid-America board for the Cambridge region and is a former member of the Ohio Corn Growers and Ohio Corn Marketing Program boards. He also serves as a 4-H adviser.
Bell attended Ohio State University and Zane State College and graduated from Ohio Farm Bureau’s AgriPOWER leadership institute. He and his wife, Melissa, have four children.
