Eugenia (Jeanne) Roberts is a resident of Mingo Junction, Ohio and an At-Large member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau board of trustees. She is the chair of Promotion and Education Committee and part of various committees within Farm Bureau.
Jeanne is a retired teacher from the Buckeye Local School District where she taught kindergarten and music. She now offers private piano, organ, and guitar lessons in her home. Jeanne is very involved in the community where she is an organist for several churches, a cantor for St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, and sings with the Ohio Valley Chorale. Jeanne is also a member of Buckeye Ruritans in New Alexandria and a member of Democratic Executive President Committee.
In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, sewing and farming.
To grow a network and gain perspective and knowledge in the industry through personal and professional development has been invaluable. Every day I learn and grow.
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.
