Gripp

Ohio Farm Bureau is announcing a new member benefit partnership with Gripp, an operations-first asset tracking and management platform. Gripp joins the Farm Bureau benefit lineup following its milestone selection as the 2025 American Farm Bureau Federation Ag Innovation Challenge winner for its practical approach to streamlining on-farm operations.

Through the partnership, Ohio Farm Bureau members receive exclusive access and discounted rates to digital tools specifically designed to maximize day-to-day productivity, simplify equipment maintenance and enhance asset protection. By digitizing maintenance histories and service intervals, the platform allows farmers to protect high-value capital investments, extend machinery lifespans and significantly reduce operational downtime.

The Gripp platform uses durable QR tags placed directly on tractors, implements, tools or structures. By scanning a tag with a smartphone, users can instantly view past service records, pull up equipment manuals, access part lists or report a maintenance issue in real time. The platform also features a built-in automated language translation tool, bridging communication gaps between multilingual farm crews and managers.

“We are always looking for new solutions that deliver immediate value to our members’ operations,” said Mike Bailey, senior vice president of operations and partnerships with Ohio Farm Bureau. “We are proud to bring Gripp’s award-winning technology directly to our members. This platform gives Ohio farmers an innovative tool to protect their machinery investments through proactive upkeep and maintenance, keeping their farm business productive and saving valuable time.”

Through this exclusive benefit, Ohio Farm Bureau members can receive special discounted pricing across Gripp’s subscription tiers, with savings ranging from $20 to $150 per month depending on their operation. All plans are flexible, requiring no long-term contract commitments or cancellation fees.

Farm Bureau connections
The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Farm Bureau involvement
Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
