Read MoreNoble County Farm Bureau trustees Clair Schockling and Chris Wells participated in Ag School Days, held May 8-9, for Noble County students. This is an agriculture-related educational field trip sponsored by Noble County Soil & Water Conservation District and over 400 students participate. Students are escorted through a series of agricultural related stations that involved Animal Science, Nutrition, Research and Reproduction. They also visit stations on Forestry, Water Quality Monitoring, Wildlife Adaptations, Electrical Safety, Weather Jeopardy and Fishing. Students gain a new understanding of our natural surroundings.
Schockling and Wells presented information on growing and harvesting popcorn and then provided the students with a sample of the tasty popped corn!
