You are invited to a workshop on Land Use Actions for the Future of Our County scheduled for March, 13, 2020 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop is designed to increase awareness about the land use planning process, inspire new collaborations and catalyze action around balanced land use.
Land directly provides many benefits to our community, by providing jobs, supporting agricultural viability, enhancing food security, providing recreational opportunities and supporting wildlife habitat. If you live or work in Wayne County, we welcome you to join in the conversation about helping maintain our quality of life and the rural character of the county. We also welcome those working on similar issues in other counties to share lessons learned and join in the conservation.
