Corky shared their personal account of why they belong to Jefferson County Farm Bureau.
“My involvement in Farm Bureau goes back to my youth when my parents were part of a Farm Bureau council. This usually consisted of 3-5 couples who took turns hosting a monthly meeting in their homes discussing agriculture issues sent to us from our county and state leaders. Farm Bureau has always had excellent youth programs so I got involved in Farm Bureau Youth. It was a way to have fun, meet new people while learning leadership. I felt my voice had value in this organization.
“Now as an adult I serve in Jefferson County Farm Bureau sharing with businesses, farmers and neighbors how they protect and stand up for land owners’ rights and the many benefits Farm Bureau offers.”
Straight from the Heart brings together women from all over Ohio to spend a day learning and in fellowship.
