Qualifications
- Must be a high school senior entering a four-year college or university program, or a technical program for the fall of 2025.
- Parents of the applicant or the applicant must be members of the Shelby County Farm Bureau in good standing at the time of applying.
- All applicants must complete the application and one-page essay on the impacts of agriculture in Shelby County, and participate in a personal interview.
- THIS APPLICATION MUST BE TYPED and can be submitted electronically to shelby@ofbf.org.
Shelby County Farm Bureau will award a $500 scholarship made payable to the student after presentation of their first quarter/semester grades is made to the county office. Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA for the quarter/semester.
The scholarship is based upon scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, and a personal interview. All interviews will be held shortly after April 1. Applicants will be notified of the date, time and location of the interviews.
All applications need to be returned to the Shelby County Farm Bureau office, 110 Industrial Dr. Suite C Wapakoneta, OH 45895, by March 31, 2025.
