Read MoreMorrow County Farm Bureau celebrated agriculture, local farmers and its rural community on March 15, with its annual Farmers Share Breakfast at the Williamsport Grange in Congress Township.
More than 75 people enjoyed breakfast and tabletop discussion. This event provided an opportunity for the community to come together and talk to local farmers and learn how farmers care about their community. Sixteen agricultural organizations had displays where farmers and residents alike could glean valuable information. $250 of the proceeds are being donated to support the Stock the Trailer project at the county fair.
Attendees also heard from a panel of experts about the personal rights protecting a farm, land or other property. There was a lot of community engagement and discussion, which made for a great morning.
