This week’s Business Member Spotlight is…….
Located in Stark County, Anthony Petitti Organic Greenhouse started as a mowing business in 1924 with Anthony Petitti Jr’s great grandfather as the owner. The business evolved into a high-end landscaping business in the late 90s when Anthony Petitti Jr took over. In 2003, the greenhouse and retail part opened. After a boating accident in 2005, Cindy Petitti-Walton became the sole owner before handing the landscaping port of the business to their nephew while focusing on the greenhouse and retail aspect. Then in 2007 another change transformed the business into an organic greenhouse incorporating animals and farming.
Offering an indoor greenhouse farmer’s market during the winter, the greenhouse is open from the first Saturday of November, and continues the first and third Saturday each month through the first Saturday of April. Purchase organic vegetable crops, fruit trees, fruit and berry shrubs, four season flowers and houseplants during the spring, summer and fall.
