Rooted in Growth: Nationwide partners tour Ohio University Student Farm and ACEnet

A powerful collaboration between agriculture, insurance advocacy, and local entrepreneurship was on full display recently as local leaders gathered for an immersive tour of the Ohio University Student Farm and the Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet).

Organized by Shawnda Vega of Nationwide Insurance Sponsor Relations and Tim Hicks of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, the event brought together several local Nationwide Select Partners to witness firsthand how sustainable agriculture and community infrastructure are fueling local economic growth.

Among the prominent attendees were Virgil Hamilton, Mackenzie Williams and Kevin Pfleger of Nationwide Insurance; Greg Williams, District 21 trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, alongside Kim Harless, senior organization director for Ohio Farm Bureau.
