Scioto County Farm Bureau would like to congratulate our 2026 scholarship recipients.
Carson Carver is a Portsmouth West High School graduate and will continue his education in the fall at Morehead State University, studying veterinary science.
Grace Lucas is a graduate of Portsmouth West High School. She plans on attending Shawnee State University and studying sonography.
Wilson Kegley is a graduate of Portsmouth West High School and will be attending The Ohio State University ATI in the fall, studying livestock production and management.
Elijah Brown is the recipient of the Scioto County Farm Bureau/Pfleger Insurance Scholarship. He is a graduate of Wheelersburg High School and will be attending Marshall University, studying biology and pre-medicine.
My first recommendation in your journey is to start out with a local farming friend or mentor along with joining an organization like Ohio Farm Bureau.
