That’s the essence of society’s expectations for farmers when it comes to reducing farm nutrient loss in order to clean up Ohio’s waters. The interesting part is, farmers aren’t saying no; they’re learning how. The Blanchard River Farms Demonstration Network is finding environmental and economic solutions. So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
