Read MoreWyatt Bates of Wheelersburg has been re-elected trustee of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. His re-election took place during the organization’s 103rd annual meeting. He will continue to serve as District 21 trustee, representing the interests of Farm Bureau members from Jackson, Pike, Scioto and Vinton counties.
Bates is an 18-year member of Scioto County Farm Bureau, having served as its president, treasurer and policy development chairman, as well as being involved in membership and many other activities. Bates, who received an associate’s degree from Shawnee State University, is a real estate agent and beekeeper.
Bates joins 25 other farmers on the Farm Bureau board who govern the state’s largest farm and food organization.
