Read MoreKyle Walls of Mount Vernon has been elected District 12 trustee of the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. He will represent the interests of Farm Bureau members in Coshocton, Holmes, Knox and Licking counties. His election came during Ohio Farm Bureau’s 103rd annual meeting.
Walls, along with his wife, Ashton, have built and manage a herd of cow-calf Mexican Corriente cattle, which are primarily used for competitive rodeo events. They also raise laying hens for egg production. The Walls were the Young Agricultural Professionals Excellence in Agriculture winners in Ohio in 2019 and were Top 10 finalists in the American Farm Bureau national competition.
He is currently with AgReliant Genetics as a distribution strategy specialist for their Eastern U.S. markets.
He is a member of Knox County Farm Bureau and has previously served as co-chair for the Ohio Farm Bureau Young Agricultural Professionals State Committee.
Walls is a graduate of Indiana University, where he received a business management degree.
Walls joins 25 other farmers on the Farm Bureau board who govern the state’s largest farm and food organization. Ohio Farm Bureau’s mission is working together for Ohio farmers to advance agriculture and strengthen our communities. Learn more at ohiofarmbureau.org.
