Read MoreIzabella Gray will each receive a $500 scholarship to help with her expenses for the upcoming college year, thanks to Guernsey County Farm Bureau.
Izabella is the daughter of Russell and Courtney Gray. Izabella volunteered in many different opportunities such as dog shelters, 4-H food stands, planting gardens in nursing homes, real money real world, and Night to Shine.
Izabella said, “I love volunteering in a wide range of things, so I can see different perspectives on life. Such as nursing homes and being able to talk to so many people with so many different backgrounds or Night to Shine where you learn a lot about people with disabilities and their families. I get to help people but also see a world I have never seen.”
Izabella is attending The Ohio State University Wooster studying agriscience education with a minor in agriculture production. After college, Izabella plans to become an agriculture teacher in a local high school. “One of the main reasons I want to become an agriculture teacher is to share my passion for agriculture while educating the future.”
Guernsey County Farm Bureau congratulates Izabella on her accomplishments and wishes all the best to our area graduate in their future endeavors. For more information on Guernsey County Farm Bureau or available scholarships for next year, phone 740-425-3681 or email [email protected].
