2023 Warren County annual meeting

Sept. 6, Warren County Farm Bureau held its annual meeting at 4-H Camp Graham. It was a beautiful rustic setting that took you back in time. A tour was offered to see the history and renovations of the camp. The meal for the evening was catered by Shoelaces Catering. The meeting began with a quick auction on two wonderfully made American flags carved out of wood. The money made will go toward future scholarships. The speaker for the evening was board trustee Butch Schappacher. Butch has served 30 years as a volunteer for Farm Bureau. He is also the camp director at 4-H Camp Graham. 

President Jennifer Bullock presented the Member of Distinction Award to Jamie Buchert. Jamie currently serves as the vice president of Warren County Farm Bureau. 

District 19 State Trustee Nicol Reiterman discussed the changes being made with membership and how the state Farm Bureau plans to meet each member’s needs while trying to gain new members.

Toward the end of the meeting, Kathleen Topmiller was named the 2023-2024 county president.

It was a wonderful evening to catch up with friends and celebrate the year’s accomplishments.
