Logan County Farm Bureau is excited to announce that it has created a new grant from its Reverse Raffle Ag Impact Fund. These mini-grants will expand grant programming to provide a limited amount of smaller programming to reach more young people this spring and summer.
The grant applications open Feb. 1 and will end May 15, 2024. The purpose of these grants is to provide an opportunity for classrooms, 4-H clubs, community groups, and more to be able to complete a small-scale project or engage youth in agriculture topics or programming. The grants are limited to amounts up to $500 and there are a limited amount available this service year.
The grants are funded by dollars raised through the county Farm Bureau’s Reverse Raffle event which will be held April 6. Over the six years of the program, over $50,000 has been rasied to be used for scholarships, programming, or activities that engage and promote agriculture for Logan County youth.
