Adams County Farm Bureau President Brett Barton, Brown County Farm Bureau President Jason Stephens, and Clermont County Farm Bureau President Joseph Glassmeyer recently represented their counties in Washington, D.C. The annual County Presidents’ Trip took place March 11-13, 2025 and provides a platform for county leaders to engage directly with national policymakers on critical agricultural issues.
During their visit, they met with Congressman Troy Balderson, Congressman David Taylor, AFBF President Zippy Duvall, USDA representatives, and other key officials. Brett Barton shared that these discussions were valuable in voicing local agricultural priorities and strengthening relationships with decision-makers.
Thank you to Brett, Jason, and Joseph for their leadership and commitment to Ohio agriculture! We also appreciate their dedication in taking time away from their careers, families, and farms to represent our counties on the national level, ensuring that the voices of Ohio farmers are heard.
