Read MoreThe 2025 Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Invitational raised $115,000 for foundation scholarships, grants and programs that help enhance agricultural communities and support careers in agriculture, setting an all-time record for the annual event.
Participation in the foundation’s annual golf invitational supports the future of Ohio agriculture. The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation believes that for agriculture to continue to grow and thrive, it must be cultivated. Through its work, the foundation is building a steady flow of young people with the knowledge, training and skills to enhance the industry.
“We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors and participants whose unwavering support helped us raise a record-breaking $115,000,” said Nathan Brown, president of the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Board of Directors and District 20 Trustee for Ohio Farm Bureau. “This milestone is more than just a number; it represents real opportunities for the next generation of farmers and agricultural leaders. With these funds, we can continue to open doors for young people, showing them the value and vitality of careers in agriculture. Through scholarships, innovative programming, and grants, we’re cultivating a passionate, skilled workforce ready to carry Ohio’s agricultural legacy into the future.”
The event was held June 23 at Scioto Reserve Country Club in Powell and hosted 160 golfers. The Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation offers a special thank you to the event sponsors, especially Nationwide, who served as the Heritage Partner for the event. This successful day would not have been possible without the generous support of sponsors and participants.
