Ohio Farm Bureau officers re-elected at 107th Annual Meeting

Read MoreNate Andre of Wauseon has been elected to his first three-year term on the board of trustees of Ohio Farm Bureau Federation. He will represent the interests of Farm Bureau members from Defiance, Fulton, Henry and Williams counties.
His election took place during OFBF’s 107th Annual Meeting, Dec. 11-12 in Columbus.
Andre has a composting, organic nutrient recovery operation and has a Class II compost facility with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in partnership with his brother, Paul. They also farm corn and soybeans in northwest Ohio.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in agricultural education and ag mechanization systems. He is a 30-year member of the Extension Professionals Organization and the Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching. Due to this long-time commitment and service, he was the recipient of Epsilon Sigma Phi’s National Friend of Extension Award in 2025.
Andre started with Ohio Farm Bureau in the 1970s. He served on the Ohio Farm Bureau State Youth Committee and the Young Farm Couples Committee. He has been active locally ever since, and most recently served as the vice president of Fulton County Farm Bureau. He also has been a passionate agricultural advocate attending OFBF’s Ag Day at the Capital and fighting for policy on the local, state and national levels.
