Athens-Meigs Farm Bureau scholarships

The Athens-Meigs County Farm Bureau and Merchants National Bank of Athens is pleased to announce two scholarship opportunities this year. Athens County scholarship recipients will receive scholarship funding from both the Athens-Meigs Farm Bureau and Merchants National Bank. The Meigs County scholarship recipient will receive a scholarship from the Athens-Meigs Farm Bureau. 

The deadline for entry is May 1, 2026. Recipients will be notified of the scholarship prior to high school graduation. The scholarship check will be sent to the student or directly to the college of the students choice, following proof of enrollment. 

Special preference will be given to applicants planning to study an agricultural related field. Student must be attending a 2 – 4 year college or university or show proof of continuing education such as a trade school or apprenticeship program.
