Nathan Watkins was elected to the Jefferson County Farm Bureau Board of Trustees in September 2017. He represents District 1 (Brush Creek, Knox, Saline, Ross & Springfield Townships) and lives on his family farm in Knoxville. Nathan and his wife of 27 years, Debbie, have four children Zach, Erin, Mike and Ava and two grandchildren Kathryn and Ellen.
Nathan and his family have farmed and raised animals for most of his life and have been involved with FFA and 4-H, raising horses, beef and dairy cows, sheep, pigs, meat and dairy goats, rabbits and chickens. He hopes to share his passion of farming with his children, grandchildren, and beyond.
In his free time Nathan enjoys wookworking, shooting sports, and he enjoys cooking with his family – especially making cinnamon rolls at Christmas.
