Read MoreThe Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation invites industry professionals, community members, and golf enthusiasts to take part in the 2026 Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Golf Invitational June 22 at Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City.
The annual golf outing is a cornerstone event for the foundation, with proceeds directly supporting its mission to inspire innovation and cultivate investment in Ohio’s farm and food community.
Each year, the foundation recognizes exceptional leadership in Ohio agriculture. This year’s honorees are Mike and Patti Boyert, lifelong champions of agriculture who have blended decades of hands-on farming experience with a deep-seated commitment to community leadership and youth education. Together with their children, the Boyerts operate a diverse, multigenerational agricultural enterprise in Medina County.
Mike served as the northeast regional trustee for the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation from 2015 to 2024 and joined the Ohio Farm Bureau Foundation Board of Directors from 2022 to 2024. Mike and Patti established the Growing Tomorrow Grant through the foundation in 2024. This grant-making program supports agricultural entrepreneurs who are finding creative, transformative ways to address modern industry challenges.
Participants of the golf outing can expect a day of friendly competition and camaraderie, with a four-person team scramble format and divisional scoring. Prizes will be awarded to teams in two divisions, creating a spirited and inclusive event for all skill levels.
