Nearly 20% of Ohio is experiencing Extreme or Exceptional Drought conditions, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. For livestock producers in those areas, measures used to keep animals healthy and productive have been in the works for some weeks and they are hoping government agencies are taking notice when it comes to disaster relief aid that will be necessary to maintain their operations.
