Farm Bureau Scholarships

Butler County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the 2025 scholarship recipients. Seven scholarships are awarded annually through the Butler County Farm Bureau.

Abbey Garland of Oxford is attending Wilmington College, majoring in agriculture communications. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 Butler County Farm Bureau Scholarship.

Hannah Kolb of Oxford is attending Ohio University, majoring in nursing. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 Joe Conrad Agency Scholarship.

LeAnn Niederman of Liberty Township is attending  Miami University Farmer School of Business, majoring in human capital management & leadership with a minor in marketing. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 Ray & Mary Jane Friday Scholarship.

Emma Puckett of Oxford is attending the  University of Tennessee, Knoxville, majoring in agricultural leadership, education, and communications with a concentration in agricultural and natural resource communications. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 Morris & Norma Van Gorden Scholarship.

Lily Swigert of Monroe is attending the University of Findlay, majoring in equine business and management as well as western equestrian studies. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 William. L. King Jr. Scholarship.

Alyssa Thompson of Fairfield Township is attending Miami University, majoring in small business management and minoring in communication. She was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 William Lawrence King Sr. and Esther Mary Smith King Scholarship.

McKenna Weekley of Somerville is attending Miami University, majoring in small business management. She was selected as the recipient of the $500 Butler County Dairy Service Unit Scholarship.
