MCFB created 15 “Ag in a Bucket” kits for third grade classes across the county. Each bucket was full of educational materials, including a book for their classroom, Ohio Farm Bureau coloring books, Ohio Beef Council coloring books and activity sheets, Ohio Pork Council pencils and stickers, American Dairy Association Mideast cow erasers and more.
Teachers for all elementary school grades were given a playlist of YouTube videos created by MCFB and Madison County 4-H and FFA members. The video topics include MCFB board member Mike Vallery on farming, Alex Crist on beef cattle, Luke Peart on beekeeping and more.
Madison County Farm Bureau is proud to support and encourage the next generation of agriculturalists. To learn more or support MCFB’s efforts, visit madison.ofbf.org or contact [email protected].
