On March 4, 2025, the Adams County Farm Bureau held its annual Policy Development Meeting, bringing together 13 attendees to discuss key agricultural and rural issues impacting the community. Topics included the importance of H2Ohio, the need for increased funding for agricultural infrastructure, and strategies to create more jobs in the sector. Attendees also emphasized the urgency of passing the farm bill and ensuring adequate staffing at USDA and NRCS offices. Farmland preservation was another priority, with members advocating for policies to protect agricultural land. The meeting provided an opportunity for members, community leaders and local farmers to voice concerns and help shape policy recommendations.
