We will highlight a family in Ashland County who contacted us after they read the story about Carlene and Bruce Patterson’s farm transition in a 2023 issue of Our Ohio and wanted to share theirs. Throughout the magazine, we will highlight the challenges and opportunities that come with transitions, talk with Trevor German who is the first farmer benefiting from the Beginning Farmer Tax Credit program and offer tips from Nationwide and other experts on what to expect and how to navigate succession planning.
