Local ag community recently trained to help keep workers safe from manure pit accidents

Young agricultural professionals from across Ohio are invited to attend the annual Winter Leadership Experience “Discover Your Legacy” Jan. 27 and 28 at Kalahari Resort in Sandusky. The conference features plenty of fun, 20 options for workshops, great food and keynote speakers as well as Safari Camp for children K-6th grade.
Registration is $150 per person, with a $25 discount for students and educators. Register online through Dec. 30. You will need payment and full contact information at registration. You are responsible for securing your own hotel accommodations. The registration page has a link for rooms at $189 (a significant savings) while supplies last.
Marion County Farm Bureau will reimburse $75 for the first six attendees who contact the county office prior to the event. You can register online and notify us at the office at [email protected] or 419.747.7488 that you will be attending. Once you attend, you will receive your reimbursement.
