It may not be difficult to find opportunities for leadership within our own lives, whether at home, school, or church; however, you might find it difficult to find leadership programs specifically designed for agribusiness professionals in our local area. The Auglaize, Logan, Mercer, and Shelby County Farm Bureaus would like to change that! This spring we are introducing a new program called the ALMS Ag. Leadership Program.
This five-session program, will focus on important topics we face today as agricultural professionals. The flyer details the sessions we have planned including leadership development, public policy/engagement, communication, and emerging agricultural issues. To enhance these learning sessions, we have included tours centered on local agribusiness, the government of Ohio, and a local area agriculture travel tour.
We ask that you consider participating in this exciting program and/or offering the opportunity to your employees. The cost to participate will only be $125 per participant and the program will be limited to 30 participants. This cost can be paid by the individual or the employer. Participants must reside in one of the four counties. Participant registrations are due by Friday, March 10, 2023.
We truly appreciate your time and dedication to agriculture in our area. We look forward to discussing this exciting program with you. Please contact the Farm Bureau office with any questions at 877-775-7642 or Organization Director [email protected].
