David Steck has served on the Montgomery County board of trustees since he joined Farm Bureau last year, through an invitation from another member. His said his hope, “For the future of agriculture and the Farm Bureau is to preserve the land we farm today for our children’s future and for more generations to come.”

Steck is a third generation farmer raising corn, soybeans, wheat and barley. He said he has learned the importance of membership through education of farmers on policy changes, which provides information on many hot button issues that involve agriculture. This is valuable to not only his family’s farming operation, but also for the future of farming.

Thank you David for your dedication to Montgomery County!
