2027 Winter Leadership Experience

Looking to step away from daily operations, connect with peers across the state, and gain fresh perspectives for your ag business or career?

Join us at the 2027 Ohio Farm Bureau Winter Leadership Experience at the Greater Columbus Convention Center on Jan. 22 and 23, 2027! Farm Bureau members of all ages can network, connect with friends, and find a dedicated space to relax and recharge. We look forward to you joining us to learn, share wisdom across generations and grow together.

Marion County Farm Bureau will reimburse $150 in registration fees for the first three attendees who contact the county office before the event. You can register online and notify us at [email protected] or 419-747-7488 that you will be attending. After you attend, you will receive your reimbursement.

Early bird registration is $150 per person through Dec. 15. From Dec. 16 to Jan. 5, registration is $175. You will need payment and full contact information at registration. You are responsible for securing your hotel accommodation. The registration page has a link for rooms at a significant savings through Jan. 5, while supplies last.

The conference features plenty of fun, great food, breakout sessions, workshops, tours and keynote speakers as well as complimentary childcare (registration is required). Choose from tailored tracks on farm finances, business decision-making, succession planning, marketing, and ag policy. To learn more about the conference, click here.

Network with fellow leaders, industry experts, and friends from across Ohio in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Explore ag innovation and discover fresh opportunities in agribusiness. Whether you’re building your brand, expanding the family farm, or exploring new frontiers in agribusiness, this is your moment to grow. Growing Connections. Shaping Legacy. Let’s grow together.

My first recommendation in your journey is to start out with a local farming friend or mentor along with joining an organization like Ohio Farm Bureau.

We’re just so thankful for the Farm Bureau and the foundation for helping put this together. And of course, the Boyert family for the vision they had with this grant. It’s jumping us forward 10 years. It’s unbelievable.

The issue of property taxation remains as one of the biggest challenges our members face today. Ensuring agricultural property is valued for its agricultural potential and not development is critical to the continued success of Ohio agriculture.

Through the Select Partner program, we became educated in farm insurance and weren't just selling policies. It became more and more clear why farmers need an advocate like Ohio Farm Bureau.

So many of the issues that OFBF and its members are advocating for are important to all Ohioans. I look at OFBF as an agricultural watchdog advocating for farmers and rural communities across Ohio.
