Farm Bureau member Clair Schockling and Chris Wells along with Noble Soil & Water Conservation District held Ag Day May 10 and May 11 for third grade students for Noble and Guernsey County. On May 11 they held the event at EORDC in Belle Valley. The students visited several sessions throughout the day with their class and learned about a variety of topics. The main theme was corn — its many types and uses in our diets and our lives. With the overwhelming generosity of local merchants, businesses and organizations, the students were able to get great souvenirs from their activities, and they got a T-shirt with the names of the sponsor on the back. One of the sessions included a sample of tasty Ohio popcorn for each student.
