Growing Tomorrow Grant to give entrepreneurs a leg up
The program is the brainchild of Mike and Patti Boyert, who are ready to help the next generation of young people get started in agriculture.
Read MoreThe 12th annual Cultivating a Cure event was held Aug. 14, 2022 at The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory in Columbus. About 300 people attended the event, which raised over $120,000, pushing the total raised over the years to over $1 million.

Founded by Porteus, a previous board president of Ohio Farm Bureau and member of Nationwide’s board of directors, Cultivating a Cure supports cancer treatment and prevention research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.
