Farm Bureau Scholarship

Qualifications:

  • Must be a high school senior entering college or a college freshman entering second year of college in the fall of 2026 majoring in agriculture. Applicant must be 21 or under.
  • Parents of the applicant or the applicant must be members of the Mercer County Farm Bureau in good standing at the time of applying.
  • All applicants must complete the attached application and one-page essay on the impacts of agriculture in Mercer County, and participate in a personal interview.
  • THIS APPLICATION MUST BE TYPED and can be submitted electronically to [email protected].

Conditions of Scholarship:
The county will award a $500 scholarship made payable to the student after presentation of their first quarter/semester grades is made to the county office. Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA for the quarter/semester.

Selection:
The scholarship is based upon scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities, and a personal interview.  All interviews will be held shortly after April 1. Applicants will be notified of the date, time and location of the interviews.

All applications need to be returned to the Mercer Co. Farm Bureau Office, 212 West State Street Botkins, Ohio 45306, by March 31, 2026.
